Point Break Meets Cyberpunk 2077: VW ID Buzz ‘Kombi’ Surfer Van Concept

If Point Break were to meet Cyberpunk 2077, this is exactly the kind of car we’d expect Keanu Reeves to be rolling around in. Rob3rt Design has unveiled his latest 3D CGI creation, a slammed Volkswagen ID Buzz 'Kombi' concept. The artist has taken the new electric homage to the VW Camper and made it effortlessly cool. Flexing his skills, Rob3rt Design has even positioned the idea in a realistic-looking virtual set.  

This isn’t his first take on a Kombi van either. At SEMA 2022, two of his designs became a reality with the help of Kenny Pfitzer Designs. They created a wide bodied VW brown bus with countless windows and a yellow pickup paired with colour coordinated surfboards. Whilst there’s no plans yet to make this new ID Buzz concept come to life, if there’s a big enough buzz around it maybe someone will try a custom build.  

Regardless of whether someone takes on the challenge of creating this in real life, it’s an insane glimpse into the future of 3D car design. As a 3D artist Rob3rt Design has created several concepts, mostly based on classic models with wide bodies, low ride heights and beefy aero kits.
